This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Shira Gavish Yoga booking app, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this deliberately simple: we collect only what we need to run classes.
Information we collect
When you request to join and use the app, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Basic profile information from Google when you sign in (your name, email, and profile photo).
- Your class bookings, cancellations, and attendance history.
- How you heard about the practice, if you tell us (optional).
We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe (see below).
How we use it
- To approve your membership and let you book classes.
- To process payments, refunds, and class credits.
- To email you booking confirmations, cancellations, and class updates.
- To show your first name and photo to others attending the same class.
We never sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted services to operate the app, and share only what each needs to do its job:
- Stripe — payment processing. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.
- Supabase — secure database and sign-in.
- Google — sign-in (if you choose to use it).
- Resend — sending transactional emails.
What other students can see
When you book a class, other students attending that same class can see your first name and profile photo only. Your email, phone number, and last name are never shown to other students.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your account information at any time through our contact form. We'll keep records required for tax or payment purposes where the law requires.
